About Us
Dr. Stephanie is a highly experienced veterinarian with over 13 years in practice. Originally from Australia, she moved to the United States immediately after graduation, beginning her career in Upstate New York. There, she worked with a diverse range of animals, from horses, goats, and cattle to dogs and cats. She later transitioned to New York City, where she spent a decade in high-intensity emergency rooms, refining her skills in critical care, pain management, and diagnostics.

Two years ago, she embraced a new chapter in the Pacific Northwest, drawn by its natural beauty and abundant outdoor opportunities. An avid ultramarathon runner, snowboarder, and horseback rider, she also enjoys exploring the wilderness with her energetic Kelpie-German Shepherd mix rescue pup.

The loss of her beloved "heart dog," Aimee, a resilient yellow Labrador who lived to 16.5 years old, deeply influenced her professional journey. Witnessing firsthand the power of rehabilitation and acupuncture in improving mobility and quality of life, she pursued advanced training in these fields.

Dr. Stephanie is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) through the Chi Institute and as a Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist (CCAT) through North Carolina State University. And, she is pursuing her Masters in Veterinary Integrative Medicine. Her approach integrates both Western and Eastern medical therapies and philosophies such as acupuncture, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, shock/soundwave, and neuromuscular stimulation to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and support the overall well-being of pets of all ages.
In Aimee’s honor, Dr. Stephanie founded Fourward Motion, a mobile veterinary rehabilitation and acupuncture service dedicated to helping animals live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. Through personalized treatment plans, she empowers pets to regain strength, move comfortably, and enjoy every stage of life to the fullest.
